Proposed 7-layer construction
The visualisation follows the prototype's geometry: the face and core provide protection, the inlay communicates, and the ferrite layer is designed for reading on metal. The materials, adhesive and NFC performance are still undergoing physical validation.
- 01 / FACE
Printed tactile face
A matt surface with fine fibres and UV printing, being evaluated for legibility and repeated handling.
- 02 / CORE
PP structural core
A polypropylene core in the proposed 74 × 48 mm format, designed to make the tag rigid and easy to mount.
- 03 / BOND
Laminating adhesive
A flexible layer proposed for laminating the face and core; the final material will be confirmed through prototyping.
- 04 / NFC
NFC antenna + die
A 13,56 MHz NFC inlay for battery-free machine identification, alongside the printed QR code.
- 05 / PET
PET carrier
A support film for the NFC inlay, included in the production configuration under evaluation.
- 06 / FIELD
Ferrite shield
A layer designed to reduce the metal's effect on the antenna; performance will be confirmed on actual machines.
- 07 / MOUNT
Rear PSA adhesive
A proposed mounting solution for painted and metal surfaces, undergoing validation before the first installations.
